ETHEREAL BEAUTY

Project Overview

For my final year project in sixth form at Blackheath High School, I sought to encapsulate the ethereal beauty of the natural world through the collection. Drawing inspiration from the intricate organic shapes and delicate forms found in flora around us.

Central to my vision was the choice of fabrics that not only exuded softness and elegance in appearance but also invited touch that mirrored the tactile beauty of the natural world. 

Diversity was rooted throughout the project, reflected not only in the range of models who showcased her designs but also in the varied techniques and embellishments employed. From foil printing to intricate machine embroidery and multiple smocking techniques, each garment was a reflection of initial inspiration.
